App Checklist
An app name, logo or promotional message is not enough to establish who operates a service or whether its claims are reliable. Use this checklist to assess the information available before trusting an app listing or sharing personal information. It does not certify any app as safe, lawful or suitable for you.
1. Identify the publisher and the operator
Find the legal entity named in the app listing, its terms and its privacy policy. Check whether the same entity is identified across those sources and whether its contact details can be independently corroborated. A familiar brand name or copied logo is not proof of an official relationship.
rummymoderns.com publishes independent information. We do not operate app accounts, hold customer balances or provide identity verification. See our About page for the scope of this website.
2. Examine claims before relying on them
- Look for a named source and a recent date behind statistics, ratings and performance claims. A screenshot alone may omit its source or context.
- Treat labels such as “verified”, “official” or “guaranteed” as claims that need supporting evidence. Check what was tested, by whom and for which app version.
- Read the full conditions behind a promotion. A headline or countdown cannot establish eligibility, availability or legality. Do not spend money or share personal information merely to unlock a promised benefit.
- Check whether the writer has disclosed a relevant commercial relationship. A disclosure explains a relationship; it does not prove the advertised claim.
3. Review permissions and data handling
Compare each requested permission with the function it is meant to support. If an app asks for contacts, messages, identity documents or broad storage access, look for a clear explanation of the purpose and recipients. Pause if the request is unnecessary or the explanation is unclear.
Read the app operator’s own privacy notice for information about collection, sharing, retention and contact options. This website’s Privacy Policy describes this website; it does not cover the operations of another app.
4. Keep an evidence checklist
- Publisher name and the source where you found it.
- App version and package information relevant to the claim.
- The original claim, its date and a link or screenshot showing context.
- The applicable terms and any information that remains unverified.
If essential details are missing or conflicting, avoid treating a claim as confirmed. For app package checks, read the APK Version Guide. Review the India legal notice before relying on claims about permitted gaming services.
